The massif of Cadiretes

 

The Cadiretes massif is a space located in the coastal area of the province of Girona, which occupies almost the entire municipal area of Tossa. It is a mountainous terrain, which reaches its maximum height in Puig de Cadiretes, 519 m. The small valleys and hollows of the massif are crossed by torrents of typical Mediterranean regime. The alternation of species of Central European behavior, in the midst of communities that are genuinely Mediterranean, is one of the main ecological attractions of the area. The coast, with a total of more than 6 km. preserved, it is particularly rugged and of great scenic beauty. To know the space we suggest using the marked trails, which can be covered on foot or by mountain bike.
